    Reid™ Construction Systems is committed to providing innovative and reliable reinforcing solutions to meet the diverse needs of the construction industry. Our ReidBar Coupler Range includes two distinct types of couplers designed to cater to various structural and non-structural applications.

    The ReidBar Steel Coupler is constructed from high strength Steel and is fully compliant with both NZS3101:2006 A3 and the NZTA Bridge Manual 3rd Edition A4. This coupler is engineered for excellence and is suitable for use in all steel reinforcing applications.

    The ReidBar Ductile Cast Iron (DCI) Coupler is crafted from Spheroidal Graphite Iron, a material renowned for strength and durability. While this coupler is non-compliant with Amendment 3 of NZS3101:2006 and with the NZTA Bridge Manual, it remains a versatile and economic solution for a range of construction applications.

    Features & Benefits:

    • Available in Cast SG Iron and Steel, in black and HDG finish. Refer to Documents section for full range.
    • Allow connections between ReidBar lengths, owing to the continuous ReidBar thread employed across the length of the reinforcing bar.
    • Coupling could be achieved anytime and anywhere without pre threading of reinforcing bar, hence reducing processing lead times and providing onsite flexibility.
    • The coarse thread nature allows the system to maintain its easy to install characteristics, as it is less prone to interference caused by construction dust and debris.
    • Efficient coupling removes the need for lapping, reducing wastage and congestion in heavily reinforced concrete pours.
